A journey out of the swamp riding a dark bubble

Abstract: I will discuss how dark energy can be realized using unstable AdS, with our universe riding an expanding bubble of true vacuum. I will also discuss how matter on the bubble is induced from hanging strings ending on the bubble. The construction provides a new way to understand the cosmological horizon, and there are also implications for particle physics and black holes.
